These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the website www.rvealstudios.co.uk and your booking of studio hire and related services (together, the “Services”) provided by R :VEALSTUDIOS LTD (“we,” “us,” “our”). Please read these Terms carefully before making a booking or using our website. By accessing or using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Definitions

  • “Customer,” “you,” “your” means any person or entity who books or uses our Services.

  • “Booking Confirmation” means our email or online confirmation of your confirmed reservation.

  • “Studio,” “Room” means any hire space made available by us, including but not limited to The Phos, Kol Lounge, Aeras, podcast room, and content zone.

3. Acceptance of Terms

By making a booking or otherwise using our Services, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy and any other policies referred to herein.

4. Services

We offer:

  1. Studio hire on an hourly basis

  2. Content creation support

  3. Content creation consultancy

Details of available Studios, equipment, add-ons and support services are published on our website and/or third-party booking platforms.

5. Booking and Payment

  1. How to Book:

    • Via our online booking system or approved third-party booking sites.

  2. Payment Terms:

    • Payment is due in full at the time of booking.

    • We accept payment through our online portals and third-party payment service providers.

  3. Additional Time:

    • If you exceed the time booked, additional fees apply at our then-current hourly rates.

  4. Damage Charge:

    • A £50 charge will be applied if the Studio is not returned to its original condition upon vacating.

6. Cancellation and Refunds

  • Full refund for cancellations made more than 7 days (168 hours) before the booking start time.

  • 80% refund for cancellations made more than 48 hours but up to 7 days before the booking start time.

  • 50% refund for cancellations made more than 24 hours but up to 48 hours before the booking start time.

  • No refund for cancellations less than 24 hours before the booking start time.

Cancellation requests must be submitted via email to [email protected] or via the booking platform used.

7. Customer Equipment

You are solely responsible for your own equipment, including any loss, damage or theft thereof. We recommend that you insure your equipment against all risks.

8. Liability and Insurance

  1. Our Liability:

    • We provide the Studios and Services with reasonable care and skill.

    • Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence or for any other liability which cannot lawfully be limited or excluded under English law.

    • In all other cases, our total liability to you is limited to the fees paid by you for the relevant booking.

  2. Your Insurance:

    • You should maintain adequate insurance cover for your equipment, your personnel and any third party you invite.

9. Intellectual Property

All trademarks, service marks, logos, website content, photographs, video, audio, designs and written materials used in connection with our Services remain our property or that of our licensors. You may not reproduce or use any of our intellectual property without our prior written consent.

10. Privacy and Data Protection

We process your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy (www.rvealstudios.co.uk/privacy). By using our Services, you consent to such processing and warrant that all data provided by you is accurate.

11. Code of Conduct

You agree to:

  • Treat our facilities and staff with respect and follow any instructions given by our on-site managers.

  • Not use the Studios for any unlawful purpose, nor do anything which may damage our reputation or infringe third-party rights.

  • Ensure that all use of the Studios complies with applicable laws, including copyright and data protection legislation.

12. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your booking without refund if you breach these Terms or engage in conduct we deem inappropriate, unsafe or unlawful.

13. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms and any dispute arising out of or in connection with them (including non-contractual disputes) are governed by the laws of England and Wales. You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms at any time. The version posted on our website at the time of your booking will apply. You should review these Terms regularly to ensure you are aware of any changes.
